Ludum Dare 50 Entry - "Delay The Inevitable"

Okay so this is way far from complete, it's been a long while since I've made anything in Unity and I totally underestimated having to learn everything from scratch... So somehow have ended up with next to no gameplay at all. 😭 Hope you enjoy the nice artwork and music at least! 💛

Here was the gameplay plan:

You're a little hedgehog 🦔 attempting to beat hibernation by keeping warm and well fed. You collect firewood to keep a fire burning in your hut, so you can top up your warmth when you're done for the day, collecting food along the way in the form of berries, worms, millipedes and nuts. You also had the option to collect hats to slow down your rate of lose of heat. As the days progress, winter gets closer and it therefore gets colder, making you lose warmth much faster. A leaderboard would track the furthest days you got to.

Controls

WASD / Arrow keys for movement

(yet to be implemented) - Space for collecting items and interacting with objects
